Ok I’ve been sat here, contemplating existence, as you do, and after posting that last pic I was wondering.. Is it good to be a fan a=of so many things?
Things I love that I am a fan of that populate my desk (not necessarily in the pic)
Transformers (biggest fandom)
G.I. Joe (much lesser)
Games Workshop - Warhammer 40k in particular.
Beer (ok not strictly a fandom)
Lord of the Rings
Ok literally without moving that covers about everything I have at least one piece of memorabilia or what not from. ON THIS DESK. Ok I will seriously give a prize to anyone who can name the things on my desk that link to that fandom!)
You should see the rest of this room.
And that doesn’t even touch on many of my obsessions that I have little “stuff” for, especially TV stuff like…
BSG (Battlestar Galactica - just in case)
Sons of Anarchy
More Doctor Who
Game of Thrones
The Office (american..)
Dead Like Me
Not sure what my original point was…Oh yeah! Is this too much? How can anyone narrow down their fandoms? Being a fan dictates that you are FAN so you cant narrow down fandoms else you are being discriminatory. And that’s just wrong!
I’m now going to tag this with everything in the world so someone at least will see the post.
Ok so I admit that I am an obsessive collector of toys. I have many, many, many, many Transformers and I got yet more for Christmas. This was further compounded by my friend coming to visit and giving me back all my Beast Wars toys which he had in storage. Now I am having a total shelf crisis! Which toys do I retire to the loft? Which shelves do I reorganise? WHERE AM I SUPPOSED TO PUT ALL OF MY HALO MEGA BLOCKS!!!???!?!?!?!?!?
Help me Transformers Fandom.
(Sorry to everyone else as any teeny hope of me having a cool factor was just washed away…)
